Lovely roads Sailor. I have many fond memories of scooting up to and down from Hawes on many an occasion. Fab driving and stunning scenery. Obviously a bit out of touch with Blighty roads now but I do remember the road from York over to Scarborough (past the Filingdales listening post- have I spelt that correctly?) was a real blast.

3 variations of it depending on how much feedback you want, videos, data etc. well worth a check out.
Unfortunately, I can't use apps on my phone. I'm not sure which of the two tin cans is faulty or if it's the string.

get yourself over to ireland and head to tipperary, aim for a place called thurles, when you get there ask anybody for the road to holycross that takes you to cashel when you get to cashel ask somebody for the way to golden and when you get to Golden ask somebody for clonoulty when you get to clonoulty its back to holycross,

Thurles -> Holycross -> Boherlahn -> Cashel -> Golden -> Ballach -> Clonoulty -> Holycross -> Thurles

Me and my friends used to call this route 'The Track' we used to to it on our motorbikes, great resurfaced roads for the most part, loads of twisty bits and a few straights, even a few cambered bends and some huge round abouts with anti-skid on the way in and out, great for the cars aswell, we slowed right down to a crawl approaching villages and such but once we wer out on the roads we got up to some nice speeds, nothing crazy like just a good enjoyable ride

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I'm restricting the set to mainland Britain for the time being. There's plenty there as it is.
Taking in Ireland would be good, though.

This is quite handy actually as I'd like to see more of the UK. I'm 'allowed' an S2K if I take her on holiday :lol: :twisted:

Yeah but her argument is that we normally take 3-4 trips together each year but the last year or two I've been slacking off on the holiday front :lol: Then trying to explain flicking materials around in a humanities degree is infinitely easier than a STEM degree didn't go down well :lol:

Dug a hole really.
