Any recommendations for motor racing video games?

There are two sequels -> Grid 2 and Grid Autosport. The last one is very good, but Grid 2 is a garbage...

Gran Turismo 2 was epic. So much time spent paying that.
Best need for speed ever was number 4 high stakes.

Another decent racer is Death rally on the pc. Not the new utter Clubbing Eddy android version. Death rally is sooooo good.

Got a bargain in a charity shop last week - an original Xbox with Colin McRae Rally 04, Toca Race Driver 2 (not very good), a football game and Goldeneye, all for £10.
I've since bought Forza Motorsport for a couple of quid off eBay and it's much better - even has a Prelude Type SH.

I've always liked the Forza series. GAme plays really well with all the aids turned off so it's just a pure racing sim. Would love to get a wheel setup in my living room for it. Gutted that it dosent have a 5th gen vti
