That's Croft!!

Snetterton is great, especially with the new spectator banks.

Sounds like Snetterton is going to be the big meet for us this year!

Can't think where, I think it's 100% surrounded by barrier now.

I thought it was at the end of the start/finish straight, so just looked up on google maps and I was right!

Here. The field on the left was/is potato plants. It looks like there's a tyre barrier along that edge now. There wasn't then. The field just above it still doesn't have any barrier in these pics though so it's entirely possible to go off and up ruining a farmers harvest!

So nerr :P

That was a interesting session eBay motors need to do a bit of work before next race. And shame about the Audi that was a big repair bill for a small team.
I'm going to donnington with my lil racer daughter hopefully will have warmed up a bit.

Yeah a shame considering he was trying to get out of the way of the car spinning in front of him. Rob Austin Racing are maybe going to sell "I helped Fix Sherman" T-shirts to raise some funds. See their FB page ;) THe car was totalled though :(

The problem with cold tyres at the start of the races unfortunately. The left rear is loaded up so much on Paddock Hill bend if there's no heat in them it's just going to let go. Rob said in his interview that he had to make the split decision to go in front or behind and he chose wrong, also that it depended on Newsham hitting the brakes or trying to power through it - he did the latter.

Really is a wrong place wrong time situation, and as he's an owner driver it is his personal car, not the team's.
