Merlin's 2.2 VTi H22a8

After being neglected for 5 years there is no way back for this car now. It was laid up as I needed a bigger daily and my situation didn't allow for use of another car. However, things are different now, and I want a Prelude in my life again. The body work has rusted, particularly the rear arches and under the body. With enough money anything is possible I suppose, but it would take a lot of effort to get this all sorted. Instead, I have bought a new 5th gen Lude, and I am in the process of taking all the good bits off this one and putting them on the new car. I'll get a new profile up in time.

It's been sitting for almost as long

But it is in much better condition as it has been in a barn for most of that time. It will be coming out soon (hopefully).

did the engine get changed & upgraded as you talked about? or is it still the same

The 4G still has the same H22a8 in it as the moment, plus the built H22a is sitting there too. The power/weight bandings for Super Lap Scotland has all changed since I last competed, so I will need to see where the car will fit in before making any plans.
