I read some reviews of the MX-6, and I get the impression it's oriented more at being a cruiser rather than a sporty coupe. From a bit of research I think the pick of the Mazda V6 coupes is the 1.8 MX-3, it's meant to be a bit of a sportier drive and it's also a bit unique and quirky

just got to get rid of the Scirocco... Any takers?

Yep, the MX-6 is more of a GT rather than a sports car.
Never been able to get on properly with the MX-3 looks myself...

Erm... my memory may be deceiving me here, but I seem to recall there being a (not entirely uncommon) problem with MX-6's involving oil starvation and dropping all the valves on startup...? Anyone? Anyone? (Bueller)

Just a thought. Might be worth googling...
