Well started on refurbing my wheels i got at last weeks meet , have given them a quick rub down and a layer of primer to see how much shows up. Also flyeyed my side lights and indicators too see if it looks any good

How come you havnt filled the scuffs on the wheel before priming?

I find if you spray a light coat of primer u can see where the worse bits are then i rub down again till it flatens out plus the edges are quite bad so mite not ever get them perfect but these wheels were cheap so im not too worried but will do the best i can

Just fill over all the scuffs then sand back on a block. If you can feel it you will see it.

Well decided when i got home today at 545 pm that i wud fit new rocker cover gasket as oil leak in spark plugs was so bad car was mis firing , anyway managed to get it all of in 20 mins thinking no worries but then it all went down hill , seems wen i undid back nut on rocker cover it actually unscrewed bolt so i then found out i cud not get the bolt of to put new rubber seal on , wasted so much time doing this it got dark and had to get oil out of spark plugs with a squezy bottle then refit everything in total darkness while swearing my ass of at the car

. But after one and a half hours its back together , just hoping its fixed oil leak now

Had the mrs holding a little torch in the end but my lighter wud of been brighter

Ok ive now checked plug holes an yippee no leaks so have put new spark plugs in using super 4s an car runs great at last so back to re furbing wheels . I have filled and smooved down one wheel and primed so now i have sprayed gloss black then i have sprayed a red glitter over the top not sure you can see it in pics but does look amazing imo so going to start other 3 wheels next
