No. Position II only, don't start it. I take it you're following the guide on here?

Yes step by step. I reckon it's the turning sequence I'm doing with dry steering maybe I'm not getting a full 45 deg into the turn!!

It is quite a narrow band but it does sound to me like you're getting when to move the wheel in relation to the light confused  don't worry about the angle on the wheels, it's the steering wheel that has the angle req.

Where are you located?

I'm sure we have a member or two in Perth?

@Merlin knows all the Scottish members, perhaps he may know someone nearby that could help if you can't get it sorted.

That's sound advice though I have to say if I had never joined this site I wouldn't know half the things I do now about the lude. As you can see I'm still on a massive learning curve. I will give it another bash and see what the outcome is tomorrow evening. Really appreciate all the advice you guys have given me so far. Big thanks.

update on h22a8 workings.... reset 4ws 3 times correctly now but the very second I turn wheel it comes back on. what else could it be? fuse?

still no further with srs mainly due to not wanting to f**k anything else up electronically so will be seeking professional fixing. finally fitted new slave c. bled and walaa!! no need for new el clutch.

turns out got two months till mot so stress has decreased slightly, needs twn new front tyres been suggested yokohamas?

doing the srs reset wont affect anything else electrically and if the 4ws light comes on when you turn the wheel it could possibly be the sensor at the steering wheel
have you pulled the code yet
