To reset it you need only to pull out for more less 20 seconds 10A fuse named CLOCK/RADIO from underhood fusebox.
Connecter is needed only if you wanna know fault code. You have to look for it behid center console, a bit lower than your radio, from driver side. There will be two of them attached to metal frame or if somebody allready used them they probably will hanging around. You are looking for 2 pin blue one. Then just using paper clip short it. Make sure your ignition key is off, and you using correct one. Then turn your key into IIposition (second click) but DO NOT START YOUR ENGINE. Engine managment, 4WS, SRS lights on dash will start flashing. Then you count how many times where long flash is 10 and short is 1 and you have your fault code. All you need now is checking in manual book what your codes means.
Good luck

There is a reset procedure for the 4ws on 5G's. I think you can find it via the wiki.
It probably locked out on a temporary driving condition code by the sounds, but if you have the 4ws light lit permanently, it will have stored a code, so suggest you check and see to be sure, before resetting.
