Hondash set up for DLC interface (ECU reading app)

Post by hoppi05 » Wed Jul 01, 2015 9:20 pm

guys i have downloaded the Hondash software whilst i await the DLC interface to arrive, please see th link for more info: http://hondashapp.blogspot.sk/

the app requires some info populating to help the calculations and there are two i am not certain of i have seen the specs in the manual but i am not sure if these are the values that are required?

basically below i do not know what to put in for the Low or High engine load or Low or High fuel pressure?

i am basing this on the stock 4G H22A engine.

the page here shows the data input sections http://hondashapp.blogspot.sk/2014/12/h ... h-app.html

if anyone can provide this info that would help speed the setup when the DLC arrives.

cheers all.

Looks cool, but where does it plug into? As far as I know OBD 1's don't have a DLC?

There is a 3-pin connector next to the 2 pin connector in the centre console on a lude I think? Is this what it is referring to?

Same type of thing that someone on here developed for their lude, software that runs on a tablet/phone??? (having a blonde moment, forgetting usernames...)

Yes, there is a 3pin down there, that's a lot of data down only 3 cables though. :?

Yes, but that's proper data, on the lude the speedo and rev counter for example are just analogue electrical pulses. :?

Hi, yes I guess @wurlycorner was refering to my tablet.

I am using a custom serial to bluetooth module and an app which can only read your diagnostic data if you have a chipped OBD1 ECU by Crome or ECtune. Tbh, developer which made the app I am using did mention he is close to discovering how to read data on non-chipped ECU-s, which was thought to be impossible before. There isn's any data sent to CN2 port unless you cut jumper J12, and non-chipped ECU-s don't respond well to that. I guess some progress was made by other people too, even thoguh I am very sceptical about it.

As far as your question goes, fuel pressure is something you will have to find in service manual, which is available here for 5th gen: http://www.hprelude.hu/doc/letoltesek/4 ... 2ss000.pdf, just use spec for h22 engine, they are the same.
HIgh and low engine load is difference between load on engine when you have no electrical consumers engaged (AC, vents, stereo, headlights, etc.) and when all of them are on at the same time. But, since he didn't say what values should be entered, you will have to play with those once you module gets here.
