Nissens radiator catalogue anyone???

Post by wurlycorner » Wed Jul 29, 2015 1:34 pm

Anyone got access to one?

I've had a look online but you need to be a registered trade customer/distributor to access their online version.
They do CD and hard copies you can request but not pdf's you can download :roll:

I have a new rad on my 4g breaker that is in excellent condition, but looks too thin in comparison to my other vtecs, so I had assumed it was from a 2.0 or such-like, but... Research so far suggests the 2.0 rads are still way way thicker than this one and that nissens now do mega thin (but more efficient) rads as an upgrade, so this might actually be the right one after all? :?

Part number for info;

Nissens? I have never heard of them before. OEM rads are Denso or Toyo.

Didn't the UK cars get a thinner core rad than the JDM models?

Nissens are a very well known/long standing 'proper' manufacturer. They are an oem supplier to Honda (among others).

I found contact details for their sales in the UK, but it was a particular bloke, maybe I'm being pessimistic, but I did rather assume he was unlikely to be massively interested helping out someone trying to reverse match a second hand rad to a car :lol:
