Swimming pool 'bridge' to link London towers - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-34009561

Absolutely bonkers!

If it comes out anything like as wholey transparent and uniformly constructed as that, I will be amazed!

Oh how I'd love to be an architect with the freedom to stretch my imagination like that, with the possibility that it might even become reality!

I'm not sure how they'd account for the inevitable movement of the buildings; but that would be lovely, wouldn't it?

The structure of the pool wouldn't be fixed at either end as such, but would itself float on bearings so the structure of the pool doesn't get pulled around.

The artist impression photos gripe me though, the water wouldn't have a light blue colour

looks cool 8-) nice to know the woman knows her stuff though

She pointed out that there was nonetheless a long history of water carrying buildings, such as aqueducts.
