Iv got a 23cc 2stroke 1.5th scale and a bunch of nitro trucks and cars. Nitro are a pain in the arse. 2stroke are brilliant.

Basically it is for my 15 (nearly 16) year old lad. He's been banging on about an RC drift car, even though we've nowhere to use it really.

Anyway, i thought about doing the same as i did for my other lad (did up a beat up Fender Telecaster and turned it into a Shinycaster...), buying an RC car, custom paint it etc.

I'm thinking battery may be the way to go as it is more reliable and he doesn't take well to things going wrong.

I've seen one and want some opinions.

Iv got hpi and tamiya battery cars both really good. Not owned a drift one. Ring model sport uk.
