One of these each side under my rear speakers? (Acoustic Feedback)

Yep, it's the microphone that listens to noise which in turn sends a signal back to the acoustic feedback box under the parcel shelf which cuts and boost frequency to cancel out noise and increase bass response.

Oh....

After I posted this I thought it may have something to do with them.

I'll be honest, they are a little to 'Boomy' for my liking. Even with all my EQ flat and 'Loud' off they have a horrible low burble with certain frequencies

Although I noticed my front speakers have been removed, so it may sound better with some speakers up front :)

It definitely will sound better with speakers in the front!
Don't do anything until you have fitted them. You should get all your treble from the front.

Yes allot of people make this mistake with the stock acoustic feedback system.
The way it's setup is how it should be with any car audio.
The front should have the full audio. All the midrange and mid bass from the front door speakers and the highs from the tweeters in the top of the doors.
The rears speakers in the acoustic feedback system are bandpassed and only play frequencies from around 80Hz to 2000Hz so they are playing midrange only and they are also playing in mono as they are weird in series.

When people bypass the system and put full range 6x9s in they think they have upgraded as they can hear the full audio spectrum and in stereo but in essence from an audiophile point of view you have gone 2 steps backwards.

But I suppose that's personal taste.

In my opinion all sound should cone front the front only and subwoofer in the back since you cannot locate sub frequencies due to them being omnidirectional.

Exactly what I thought

I'll stick some fronts in (Tweeters are still there)
