M2Z4 Transmission

Hi

Well im about to continue with my BB6 project and now i have some debate with myself in regards to the transmission.
My BB6 since i bought it came with the M2Z4 and after some time like 1 or 2 years of using the car normaly notice that it didnt have the same response from the first time when i started to use the car. So thought it was the LSD wearing out.

So doing some research i am planing on using a MFactory LSD and 4.64 Final Drive, but checking on the web came across with some information that the M2Z4 has a different type of LSD that is not the Helical LSD, this i dont know yet because i havent open yet the transmission to verify if it has a different LSD type. so with that information dont know if that MFactory LSD with the FInal Drive will fit with no problem, normally because on there transmission ID dosent show to have the M2Z4. So this got me confused and now i dont know what to do in regards to the LSD and Final Drive

Never heard of m2z4.
My suspicion would be that it would all fit fine - the box codes seem to suggest it's exactly the same series of boxes, just with either a different difficult or ratio. Can't confirm that, though.

Isn't the m2z4 the gearbox from the sir-s spec or something like that?

Yes it´s the Gearbox of the S-Spec

I know that there are some changes on the gear ratio. But still wanted to check if a new Mfactory LSD with the 4.64 final would work with no problem will check also the carbon master kit

Viscious lsd then so nope can't be changed with an mfactory one.
