VTEC Test
I want to say jack up the front, get it on stands and then go for it
however there’s probably another way, what’s the reason for testing it stationary?

VTEC Test
Basically I have stripped it to race, we race them on the beach but obviously only at select times so I’d like to make sure it was working before I took it down for the 1st time

VTEC Test
Have you got any particular reason to think it isn't working?
The best way is just to drive it. Make sure the engine is up to temp, full of oil and then rev it through the rev range in 2nd gear or higher. You will hear (and feel) clearly when vtec engages, around 5400 rpm.

There is no real reason why it wouldn’t work, just I have never driven it and it’s been sat for a while, I have removed some auxiliary wiring that will not be needed but still have not fault lights etc so hopefully it will be fine
