I have a slight leak in my de-cat and need new gaskets.
Where's the best place to get these please?

(Assuming you have standard flanges either side?) then you can get them from Honda and you may well find they have them on the shelf.

Part number was posted up here a couple of weeks back...

I found a thread with a link to Lings, but they look like the crush ring type.
I need the other type. :?

[edit] Yes, that's the thread. I'm a bit confused now. :?

Just checked your profile thread and I see you have an after-market exhaust
( :o pushki, I'm shocked! )

In that case, that would explain why it has gaskets instead of crush rings. My ebay jobber stainless manifold/downpipe (in the shed waiting to be fitted) came with a gasket to join onto the cat. They're probably just cheaper/easier for aftermarket exhaust manufacturers?

Dunno where you'd get one of them without looking (as it's not the standard kit I mean).

If the pipe diameter and flanges are the same though, the standard crush rings might still be fine?

Thanks Wurly. ;)

I'm thinking this may be the only option.

Looks to be a PITA to cut to shape though.

This is what I'm talking about.
I used my old ones with paste before, but it's started leaking.

This appears to come with both gaskets: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Prelude ... 4d0912198a

Worth dropping them a message and seeing if they'll sell the gaskets separate?

That's not jdm as far as I'm aware.

I have been looking for some jdm joints and really can't find any.

There's one guy on eBay selling them but its like £10 plus postage.
