Let me know if you have advice on things to look out for etc!
Cheers,

Thanks! It's got an interesting history- did 31k miles in its first 5 years of life and then seems to have sat in a garage since then... bought it with the private plates of the original owner.
The red top is on my list of things to sort out! The paint is a bit flaky on there so I'll be sprucing that up when I get a moment (no one will ever see it but it'll make me feel better knowing its looking vibrant under the hoodwurlycorner wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 6:37 pmHi and welcome, well done picking one up at such low mileage!
The 99 on's are the most desirable UK models, because they have the H22A8 'red-top'.
If it doesn't have any rust in the rear arches, the important thing to do is to get them properly treated inside with Dinitrol asap, to keep them that way (relatively easy job to take out the interior enough to access those areas).
Other than that, you've already checked about the cambelt so the only thing left is to see if it had the recall for the ignition switch done at a Honda dealer - if the recall hasn't been done... enjoy the look on their faces when you go in and request it for a 24 year old car![]()
