Anyone want somewhere to store cars in Essex?

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Can't afford this one on my own, but would take it on if someone else wants to have some space and contribute towards the total cost?

That should take 12 cars in total, so plenty of space!

Looks amazing! Far too far for me to travel though. Sorry.

I think it's only that cheap because it's not commercial rated (so not suitable for a business to operate out of).
 And probably also being let by a farmer that wants a tenant who only needs access to the building maximum once a year, by several months prior appointment and under escorted circumstances only

£440 pcm, but what is the minimum lease period?

How do rates apply if you are not using it as a business premises?

Minimum lease periods on these places are normally quite short (6 months) and that isn't a problem for me anyway really - I've been renting my current barn for about 6 years and my first council garage for over a decade!

I think it's rated if the Council have deemed it to be a commercial property, i.e. one that would be used for business purposes. Presumably it would be possible for me to apply to have a rated building un-rated, but I expect that wouldn't be quick/easy and the landlord probably wouldn't be interested in getting involved in that either...
