Need advice on buying a new pc
Hey guys, im looking at buying myself a new pc. Problem is i don't know too much about processors ect. I'm looking to spend between £250-£310. will be using it for light gaming and messing around with music production. If anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be great

This one with windows 7 or 8 fits in your budget (just about
)

This one is better for gaming but costs more £340

Both dont have a monitor, keyboard or mouse though

another quick question. the pc i've picked comes with
Toshiba 1TB 7200rpm 3.5" Internal SATA III Hard Drive. i've heard these new solid state hard drives are the way forward, £23.27 to upgrade to this
Seagate (1TB) 3.5 inch Desktop Solid State Hybrid Drive 6Gb/s SATA 64MB (7200rpm) 8GB MLC NAND Flash (Internal)
worth it?

Not worth upgrading to that drive - that's a standard mechanical hard drive with a piddly 8GB of flash, you won't see any benefit to it whatsoever.
You'll need to define "light gaming" - this can be the difference between something good that's in budget for everything other than gaming, or something that's not great for everything, including gaming
