Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Earth faults are the easiest IMO. Find the component, find its earth, continuity check it to an earth point then if its bad, find the earth location. A wiring diagram/manual, multi meter and some savvy, you know what I'm saying? (in a cpt. Jack Sparrow accent)

I hate earth faults. They can be a right arse to track down...
More than likely, given my car is a hybrid UKDM/JDM, the break could be anywhere!!

My "fault" however, is quite a good theft prevention technique ;)

To be fair, the wiring diagrams for the Lude are really good and show exactly where all the looms and earth points are, so yep it probably isn't too bad. I'm used to working on something like my CX though, where the wiring schematics are great, but there are no wiring diagrams and all the wires are green (or yellow) so finding anything is a whole lot more difficult!

I think your right, earth fault is what I'm thinking too.

It could be backfeed from the lighting circuit via the brake light circuit.

Especially with LED bulbs - my dad fitted some LEDs to his Shogun, and it prevented the cruise control from working, and the torque converter would no longer lock up. Swapped them back to standard twin filament bulbs, and was perfect again.

I'm not convinced that's the problem because it wasn't working prior to the leds going in. I suppose they will be drawing less power, what are they 1 or 2 watts instead of the standard ones.
