I think the tip about Volvo engines might be useful.
I've been contemplating some major de-cluttering for a while and have been offered a 740 estate with 6 months MoT for not much more than scrap value. A rat-look with an S80 T6 engine? One can but dream.

I think the T5 would be a much better bet, more common, and more tunable 8-)

In truth, though, I should probably think about finishing off the Hondas before tackling Volvos.
