Car TV tonight - the good, the bad

Post by wurlycorner » Tue Oct 20, 2015 9:35 pm

Building Cars Live - good fun. Good presenters (James was surprisingly excellent live) pre-recorded vt's were varied and good balance between fun and informative.

On the other hand, Deals Wheals and Steals - utter dogshit. Everyone on it was a total drokking numpty, utterly staged and done in that drokking awful jobby American docu-soap style, where they intersperse the 'live' filmed bits with sat down interview bits of the people to camera, filmed afterwards, but with the contestants talking in present tense as if it's real time interviewing while they're doing the things they're doing in the live part... Total Clubbing Eddy.
Look out next week for one of them buying what they insist is a Ferrari F50, for the bargain price of £60 and then once it's wheeled out of the auction room, suddenly they realise it isn't a Ferrari after all, it's the ten yard builders skip the other contestants had been saying it was, all along. They excuse themselves by saying they had been distracted by the blonde birds massive tits and crushed velvet tracksuit and then get the last laugh by managing to immediately sell it on to a billionaire Arab for £520,317 who happened to be passing the auction and has been trying to find an F50 to add to his collection of rare Ferrari's.

BTW, New series of Car SOS on More 4 tomorrow night...

I like Car SOS as well and funnily enough, the new series (I see an E-type, an old Alfa and a quattro in the trailer), starts tonight.

I thought the title of this thread should have been ' The Good, The Bad & The 5th Gen Prelude' :P

I'd really like a crushed velvet tracksuit.

I've never see 'Building Cars Live', hope it's on when I'm over there. The 'Car SOS' was pretty good. The Jag E-type one. I thought the deep maroon colour they finally used looked spot on as well.

I caught up on both episodes of "Building Cars Live" on Saturday on iPlayer - pretty good and entertaining.
