Actually I have a soft spot for the mk1 MX5 and if I want such a fat fat fatty I'd have one once my Lude bites the big one.

I love MX-5's :) They're great fun to drive, I'd say on the right road, more fun than my Legnum, because you can get closer to the limits in an MX-5. Don't get to drive my mum's very often any more, but it was lovely to drive to around whenever it wasn't raining with the roof down :)

Took mine out today. Empty roundabout, 2nd gear, go in slow, build up speed gradually, feel rear tyres gently letting go, maintain throttle, hold drift, smile a lot :D :D

I know people take the mickey but Mx5's are great fun even in standard form
