finally got round to changing my uplink to downlinks

god knows how it happened but they were put on wrong about 4 years ago.....i had always thought the roll bar looked low but never realised it was the lowest point on the underside of the car - could have been very nasty if it had caught on anything

not much noticeable difference in handling round corners but a bit more planted at the front end -but i always wondered why it felt a little bit light at the front end when cresting any dips or hills at speed

i guess it was pushing the lca upwards..

Glad you got it sorted. Was it easy to do or did you have to undo the anti-rollbar bushes?

twas easy to do but yes i did have to undo the roll bar bushes and move the arb about to get enough room to pivot it up to where it should be.....i rekon your chicken mechanic could have done it in 30 mins - it took me about an hour to do

i do remember changing the arb over about 4 years ago...

it was one of the first diy jobs i ever did on the lude
