If you drive like that with the 4ws not working you are liable to kill yourself!

But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

What he said. The rear wheels aren't locked in place, they can turn under heavy cornering and won't pull straight when you exit. Pretty lethal, you need to swap the 4ws subframe for a 2ws one.

Slightly over doing it guys - it does depend how hard you're driving.

It's perfectly ok to drive gently with the 4WS not working, but you will find it gets knocked off line a bit by odd bumps and tramlines in the road.

Don't drive it hard (take corners fast/hard) though at all - that really is asking for trouble.

If you plan to keep the car and don't plan to fix the 4WS though (which is bound to be pretty simple tbh) then what they said - you DEFINITELY need to put a 2WS subframe on.
