4th gen - Stripped, big brakes and now boost!
Re: 4th gen - Stripped, big brakes and now boost!
Not been on the road yet as of yet. Waiting till March before it see's the road again (A mixture of insuring, saving monies and more spending monies...) Hopefully it'll be off boost alot when cruising meaning I can keep my mpg's up to around or +30, but by the sound of things i'll be getting boost start to come in around 3k ish, maybe alittle before. (Lauch control in video set to 5k rpm in video).
Also tested the exhaust at around 50cm at 45 degree's and was reading 99DBc, but it was massive windy and was reading very high with the wind anyway so hopfully it'll drop abit when in quiet weather conditions, but it doesn't sound very loud if honest so hopefully I wont have any issues with the old bill, or more important the tracks!

Long time, no update! Fitted my double din radio and its amazing! Mapped the car and it was over 300hp easily, fitted a glass sunroof panel and fitted new springs onto my adjustable koni shocks. Car has been on the road for a week, and its been "interesting"! Although now I am asking how much is my car worth with all the spares that it would come with?

I now have alot of spares! Which include standard 282mm front brakes (calipers, discs + pads), 2 open diff box's, alternators, dizzy's, starters, rad, standard bonnet, bucket seats + harness's, full interior, the wheels posted in earlyer pictures and alot more!

Didn't go on the dyno. I road map cars as you get the drive-abilty unlike when you do them on the rolling road! Although I do plan on sticking her on one soon! I did race a few bikes though and I was quicker!

Was 8-9 psi but with lots of timing which is where the power comes from!
