Autoglass free windscreen chip repair - I wish...

He said right at the start, "when fixing chhips like these there is always a chance that the glass will split, shall I continue?" Of course I told him to go for it, but I wonder if perhaps he could've been a bit more gentle? I'm sure he didn't need to attack the chip with quite as much gusto as he did, but I don't know, I'm not a trained Gavin.
I'll just pull my pants back up, pay the man and move on with my new glass.. and as everyone says, a new screen is lovely (if they fit it correctly!)

Lucky you said this! I just called Autoglass prior to my appointment tomorrow to make sure they had the right glass, the trim and all the clips ..and guess what, they hadn't ordered the clip kit!!! Hopefully it will arrive in time for them to fit my screen tomorrow.

The pic was taken when a "real" autoglass fitter came with another replacement screen so he had removed the seal and uncovered the non bonding :lol:
I slipped a bit of paper through in case they got arsey about replacing it again for free
