Surely something wrong if a 3rd gen is beating an impreza and a 944? (that's not a derogatory comment against 3rd gen, more so at the scooby and the porka drivers?!)

There's no weight to the older Hondas, and they're quite aerodynamic despite their apearance. The Accord of the era has a drag coefficient of just 0.32. Chuck an engine like the B20 into the mix and you have a surprisingly fast and manoeuvrable car 8-) the only problem I find is that with no traction control they just constantly want to spin up the front wheels

But I'm guessing that the Prelude in question must have had some work done to put those turbo cars back in their place.

Wish I had a 3rd gen Prelude

Sell the golf and the scirroco, get the 4th gen back on the road and buy a 3rd to keep it company... You know it makes sense! :D

Don't tempt me, the VW's are nothing but trouble and 3rd gen Preludes are pure win

Might just sell the Citroen and tell my girlfriend it's down my mate's garage being tested or something  she loves Preludes anyway, I'd obviously be getting the 3rd gen to make her happy :D

Impressive grunt. Wonder what they've done to it to get that?

If it's running a B20 lump, I've heard people in the states have had some decent results using high comp Civic B series pistons and aggressive aftermarket cams (albeit this is in in Accords, but with a similar engine). Apparently it requires a bit of work to get the B20 rods to mate to the pistons, but it's a good way to get some more power out the lump.
