Right I've done a deal with a supposedly genuine Ultra Racing seller in Malaysia (where they're made) for a fair bit cheaper than what you can get them for in the UK. Will post back when I receive it with more info - he's happy for me to share the offer with you lovely lot :)

After a bit of hoo-haa with UPS it arrived without import charge :)

Looks genuine to me. I noticed one end is twisted at a slightly different angle to the other. Will have so see how that compares to the old one. Hopefully it'll line up OK with the mounts. This thing is STRONG, I can't bend it with all my weight.

I'll get it fitted and make sure it fits good and works nicely before I give out details etc. Hopefully if the weather's good I'll get it sorted this weekend.
