Re: Shell v power
A chap I bought some V-Power off yesterday said that some garages had held back from ordering the 'old' stuff because they new the 'Nitro' was coming this week. This would explain why some of you couldn't get it.
Interestingly, he also reckoned that the new version had nothing to do with increased ethanol ratings - it stays at 5%.

From what I've read E10 will be rolled out clearly marked as a different product that may damage your car, and will gradually replace the regular/budget fuel. Premium fuels have been earmarked as staying as they are, ie. up to a maximum of 5% ethanol, luckily.Sailor wrote:Interestingly, he also reckoned that the new version had nothing to do with increased ethanol ratings - it stays at 5%.
