Definitely not interested in repairing yourself then?

I'm afraid not, the rear arches have started to go, there's rust spots across the top of the wind screen, so personally I can't justify it.

Yep, can understand that then.
It's a shame. Financially it doesn't make sense for anyone else to do it (I mean they couldn't do the work and expect to make any money out of selling it on as a 2ltr I guess).

Small update....

The women who hit me has taken full responsibility for the crash (as she should) but there was not really any witnesses that stuck around, and she seemed a bit iffy.. so I was expecting a bit of a fight.

Her insurance company is sorting everything out, insurance assessor will be looking at my car next week.

Sweet! At least she admitted liability, In my accident the woman has dug her heals in. But, i had a witness... so she has no hope
