Courier Recommendations
Hi guys,
Was wondering if anyone could give me a recommendation for a courier who would be suitable for shipping a body panel, reason being I've found a rear door for my Golf but the seller wants the buyer to arrange a courier. I've never shipped panels before, and I don't want to get a sore bum over the price, or receive a battered door in the post.
Cheers,
Josh

Re: Courier Recommendations
It's not gonna really matter what courier you use if he wraps it poorly. I've been using I post parcels and haven't had any complaints as yet and they are pretty well priced. And next day delivery

Unfortunately as it's a Mk2 I'm having no luck finding a door in the right colour locally, there just aren't that many being broken any more, and the majority that are being broken are in the more popular colours like Helios blue or that horrible green
I've even got a large VW breakers yard nearby and they were out of doors in my colour
so my only choice is to look further afield. I could go and collect, but tbh I'm not spending loads on fuel just for a door
Cheers for the suggestions guys, I'll look up those carrier services and see if I can get decent quotes
and I'll make sure the fella at the other end goes overboard with the bubble wrap!

I've used these for wheels:

£35 for panels is OK~ish.
I believe they are another trading style of Parcel Togo or Herpes...

That's a thought - it's in Stourport-on-Severn in Worcestershire. Problem is that it's a fairly wide door on the rear, so I wouldn't think it'd be easy to pick up in a car. I got my Golf's bonnet through the rear passenger door oncewurlycorner wrote:Where is it jj?
Might be a job for the LG express?
