The Max Power sticker is for my own ironic amusement. I still have a few knocking around.

I used to be admin on the old Max Power forum, imagine this place, only 10 times more sarcastic, rife with photochops and a mutual hate for jobby modified cars. Abusing the wannabe models, being sent tit and rhubarb shots by them and an all round good crowd of chaps. Free tickets to the Max Power show for me and my mate, drinks at the bar with the staff and abusing the models in person! LMAO.

We nearly destroyed the self centred rhubarb Kerri Parker.

Oh the good old days.

Then the boys in the ivory towers at Emap said that the content of the forum didn't reflect the image they were trying to portray and shut us down :(

What, their image of peddling garishly modified jobby boxes and orange painted slappers draped over the latest tacky Escort? :?
Yeah, I can completely imagine how the forum you've describe didn't fit with that

:tosser:

(them, not you )

There were very few gash cars amongst the regular forum members and we ripped the jobby out of the Corsa boys.

It was a place to mess around, talk music and talk crap about cars, just like here.

Oh right, so they were right and it genuinely didn't represent the mag image then!

No, it was full of body lemonade takers and sarcastic people, abusing stupid people, no swear filters, admin role was really only related to racism or Tackle Box shots.

So far removed from the magazine you wouldn't believe it.

That pretty much covers my geargrinding.

Oh and loosing races to Gayno
If it's any consolation, proper meat/fish pies are fine; it's the (especially simple) carbohydrates in everything these days, which sticks yer LDL to your arteries, apparently. Sorry; it includes beer, so I cannot help you there.

Plan is currently to renounce all forms of sugar where practicable. And then drink more beer...
