I'm the owner of a beautiful green 98 BB8 Motegi VTi. Unfortunately and to my lasting shame I've managed to prang it into a tree.

Will post pics when I get home.
Essentially the front drivers side arch has a tree shaped gouge in it and the suspension is a bit all over the show. The inner and outer wing's have been destroyed though the suspension hardpoints are all still in place. The front crossbeam (rad support) is bent out of shape. Exterior panels or obiously trashed but I see this is minor compared to the chassis damage. Good news is the chassis legs are still undamaged and engine still runs beautifully.
A friend of a friend was going to sell me another VTi shell with a gutted interior and damage to rear for only £200 but thats fallen through. I'm now looking for another way to get a lude back in my life. I see these as my options:
1) Try and repair the damage to my car using cut-and-shut techniques to cut out an inner pannel and crossbeam off a scrapcar and weld into mine, replace damaged panels and viola!
Or 2) Buy/find a cheap as chips prelude, repair any damage (if any) using ok parts from mine, swap in my interior/engine/4WS/and other niceties.
OR 3) Break and scrap my prelude loosing the £1675 I paid for it and live in eternal shame.
Can anyone help me out here? Know a prelude going for real cheap? Maybe a 2.0 liter or one with engine or rear end damage that I can repair with BB8's OK rear end.
General advice? Is it worth trying option 1?
This will be a big project but I'm dedicated and I feel like it's my duty to repay my debt to the car gods and bring a prelude back to life from my dead one.
Please help!!
