Tapping after oil change

Hey can anyone shed some light on this, I've recently done an oil change using 10/40 castrol gtx and a Honda oil filter, since this I've had a loud tapping noise on start up and kind of clears but abit intermittent when warmed up! Ive checked the levels and there all good! Am I using the correct oil?

You sure you put the drain bolt back on?

oil pick up line may be a bit blocked - may need to clean it

Done abit of research and looks like honda use 15/40 in non vtec engines so that mite be the issue

Your oil should be fine. I wonder if you need your valve clearance adjusted

Ok will check that but just seems weird that after I change the oil the noise came about! I don't know, might just be me being paranoid!

Oil changes can show up things like tappets being out, or worn bearings.
