samgung galaxy s 2 forum log in tec help please.
i have upgraded from a nokia n8 to a sgs2, on the nokia it used to remember all paswords on sites i logged on to. now with my new galaxy s2 when i log on here and tick the remember me check box, brouse the site and then press the home button, this leaves the internet at the last page i viewed and returns the phone to the home screen.
now and again it will not remember the password and i have been logged out. so have to log in again. on the old nokia if i entered just the h of my username the phone would auto fill the name and the password and all i had to do was just press log in amd away i go.
now is there a setting on the galaxy that will allow the phone to remember passwords?
any help would be much aprieciated.
@dbo what happens on your tab2?

What browser are you using? The home button behaviour is normal btw, the app is just backgrounded. Welcome to multitasking done right

is it the way you are accsessing the site?
i just press internet and google is the homepage, then at the top search bar i clear it then just press L on the keypad for ludegeneration and the dropdown shortcut appears for my last session online. this should take you straight back to when you were last online and this site auto refreshes to current time

Even though the app is still running, the site will time you out on inactivity, so you still need the browser to remember your username/password to log you back in again automatically.
I have a phone running android but don't use the default browser or allow browsers to remember my passwords (after losing my phone one night when I was completely out of it in Ibiza...
) so can't help any further though I'm afraid.
