just signed in on LB on my phone and it just does the same as the desktop you just tick the box that says remember me, then when you come out just keep hitting back button till out.
it is the site that remembers you not the phone

I have the check box ticked and it still logs me out. Is there a setting for login duration on here?

Not really man, it deffo sounds like a phone issue given everyone else is able to use the site fine.

Try another browser like Chrome, should be a free download in the play store.

It's a little bit bit of both. The site runs session variables and your phone runs cookie variables. The cookies are the fall back for when the site session times out. I too believe it will be something on your phone - not sure where you would look mind

Your phone doesn't like Chrome? Very bizarre - Android and Chrome are both Google products!

There are a couple of other browsers you can try;
Dolphin (lots of people recommend, I haven't tried it myself)
Opera (what I use)

scroll down to developer options and go in
see if you have a apps section there is a don't keep activities check box make sure unticked
