Which model is my Lude?
In trying to do some fault diagnosis on my electrical system, namely the ICU. In the manual it lists some tests you can do (starting page 23-200) but it varies from model to model. They refer to these models as:
KF
KG
KS
KY
KE
KQ
KT
How do i determine which model is mine? For anyone in the know I've got a 1994 JDM 2.2 Vtec BB1
edit- hmmm, starting to think its a KY model looking at some of the specs at the start of the manual, can anyone shed any more light?

Re: Which model is my Lude?
Right, just been out to the car and it would appear that mine is NONE of the models listed in the manual i have so i possibly have the wrong manual
Could anyone do me a really big favour and look at their manual for the JDM models and see if they can find the tests for my ICU? heres a picture that shows the colours and positions of the wires in the 16 pin connector which plugs into the ICU and also a picture of the ICU itself.
For clarity the wire colours are:
orange/red
blue/white
white/black

Re: Which model is my Lude?
cheers Rob
im trying to do the input tests for the ICU to make sure it is getting the right signals and that the earths are all ok. They are listed in the manual
I seem to have found an update in the 1996 supplement which shows this connector with the same wires as mine (looked through all supplements now) but i find this strange as mine is supposedly a 1994 car and the 1994 and 1995 supplements are different to my car

I'll be interested to read the results of your tests when you get to the bottom of this, 'cause at the moment I think the ICU is the cause of the interior light/headlight warning buzzer not working properly on my UKDM, but haven't put anymore time into solving it yet.

Are you looking at the pdf copies that were hosted by Honda for a while, not sure if someone has them linked on here? If so, those are the UKDM manuals. I have all hard copies except the 96 supplement. I also have the odd 3rd gen and 5th gen ones the sad little collector that I am!
But then you say yours is a JDM, so that's perhaps why you're having a problem. The only other pdf manual I've seen is the all-in US copy. I also have some other manuals by a company called Mitchells in pdf copies, they are completely different to the Honda ones and don't necessarily have everything in them and I'm not sure of it's origin but it's certainly not written in Japanese!

Re: Which model is my Lude?
im looking at the manuals in the wiki Lude section, scanned pdf format. The one i found in the 96 supplement listed it as the KU model so maybe that's the JDM one? Its annoying because im at work now and itching to get the multimeter out lol
