I have the car insured on a classic policy with Peter James insurance and this comes in at less than £200 per year.

Yeah saw this one and it's in my watch list too (not that I can buy, just cause I'm a sad muffin that likes to stalk nice preludes )

Looks gorgeous and with a little bit work, certainly could be!

I had a cheeky £500 bid in but it's gone up to £850 now so I'm out. It's definitely worth that and more but I already have a lude that I could make rust free for that kind of money.

Besides, if I had won it I would have probably considered doing a manual conversion, then decided it was too much effort and just pinched the leather interior and sunroof wind deflector before selling it on again.

Does look nice but...
The body is totally solid and has only three minor surface rust spots that I am aware of – one on the offside sill and two on the nearside rear quarter panel. I mention these only to be honest. They are not really of much consequence.
Have to disagree with that though, this is the thing that kills these cars off. I wonder what's lurking behind the side skirts. :?
