What is Verno?

My lude had a verno sticker on it when I first got it.

All Honda cars with a numberplate in the rear bumper were sold under the Verno flag.

Primo were cars with a numberplate in the boot/tailgate.

etc. Just a sort of distribution thing.

^ that was more helpful :lol:

Verno = Sport Touring
Primo = Kei
Clio = Luxury

Verno slogan: The car, become a personality.
Primo: The car, become a family.
Clio: The car, clear (or space/room).

So yeah, as Ratty said, marketing shizzle.

brief update, after a top end knocking noises getting gradually worse and 99% of LG advice pointing towards the water pump, myself and a mate this bank hol wkend just gone changed the water pump, cam belt, tensioner, fitted the AEM adustable cam gears, Walbro fuel pump and Hondata ECU.

here's the lude on the rollers the next day getting a bit of tuning
Image

AEM cam gears fitted - as you can see we chopped off the end of the rocker cover and left the top cam belt cover off for quick adjustment of the gears

the result after the evening tweeking wasnt much, i gained more torque than bhp due to the make and style of the Cat cams so its now running around 200bhp with about 160ft ib of torque and so drags as quick as a diesel low down then hits tec and screams :twisted: not the quickest here by far, but for not a lot of engine mods at all, i'm pretty damn pleased with it :)

plus the main thing, the top end knocking noise seems to have dissappeared.....safe 8-)
