GOOD main dealers

Post by bennyboy » Tue Apr 30, 2013 10:28 pm

I know we all love to call them Main Stealers etc etc, but I have to mention my local Honda - Brayley Honda in Hatfield Road, St Albans.
Their parts dept really is ace, and in particular a guy called Gio. He's worked there for a long time and nearly always gives me a bit of a discount, without me ever asking. Example - called in there at 5.05pm tonight to ask about number plates, he was making some up at the time, showed me what they looked like (eu logo etc) and said he could have them made up in 20 mins for me. Bearing in mind they close at 5:30pm too, he could have told me to come in tomorrow.

Went to the shop next door, called back and sure enough, nice shiny new plates. Should have been £9.95 ea I think, but he took a wedge off. Even chucked in an assortment of plate fixings :D
I've used them countless times, trims, clips etc and even battery (should have been £44, they did it for £40 8-) )

So, big  to St Albans Honda!

I've always been similarly impressed with my local Honda dealer in Chelmsford (the you guy in the parts dept anyway).

Glad to hear there are a couple of decent ones out there.

I don't recommend Redhill Honda, formerly FW Mays.
2000 Honda Prelude 2.2 VTi (H22A8 / BB8).

Agreed, never has a problem with me trawling through the parts diagrams looking for bits

Honda Guildford were great for me. Fixed everything, chanrghed as they said they would, polite. perfect.

Honda Ascot. Shitetity bum droppings. 'aligned' 4WS without right kit. Then charged me. had to get it done elsewhere. Stole all my Honda dust caps (twice) couldn't be arsed when asked any questions. Never again. Would not touch them with someone else's bargepole.
