Does anyone know a good/reliable mobile car alarm fitter?

To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know a good/reliable mobile car alarm fitter in the East Anglia area? The ones that come to your house and do the installation?

Also, they will need to remove the old alarm system and install the new Cobra G193 system.

Please let me know if you know anyone, I need to get the alarm sorted.

Thank you,
Arif.

You could try a local mobile Auto-Electrician, there's plenty on Yell.com

Thanks bb1boy, found a couple which I've contacted and waiting for a quotation. How much would I be looking to pay for this? Removal of old alarm and install a new one?

Couldn't really say mate, I don't know how long it will take. Depends if he quotes you for the job or if he charges an hourly rate and if he's removing/bypassing a factory fitted alarm or another aftermarket one. Personally I would expect to pay about £100-150 but I could be way out!
Good luck mate

Just checked receipts on one of mine that had a Toad cat 1 alarm/immobiliser fitted (before I bought the car).
It was much longer ago than I thought ('99) but FWIW, price was £280 including supply of the alarm.

Probably best to make sure its a Thatcham certified installer, also the only way of getting an installation certificate.

I've heard good things from several people about Barry at Safe n Sound
