To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

EDIT: In a lude I mean.
There are some pics of the full gathers DSC set up on page 1 of my JDM profile (link in sig below).
Hadn't seen one of the simple panasonic head units for years and years though, till GJM posted up his pic in this thread!

I'm going to leave that in the JDM (up-rate the speakers) and go for the cassette-jack adapters so we can use phone for music etc. My mates used to have them in their cars for using a portable CD player system when we started driving years ago. Full on Goodmans setup with the dash mounted shock proof table on a bendy arm thing for the CD player to sit on.

We were the Dons cruising up and down Brentwood high st like that with Outhere Brothers blaring out - way before TOWIE was even thought of

I think I have an OEM tape deck from a civic somewhere.

I'm still using the tape deck in the Legend, with the cassette-phono adapter to play music from my phone.

I just pulled this from my donor car.. looks like it takes a CD cartridge - although I've never seen one before.

OOOH, nice!
Not seen that Gathers CD player before.

The cartridge at the top doesn't look wide enough for CDs itself though.

 There were in-dash CD players where you could load multiple CD's in through a single slot and it stored them deep inside its bowels for you (some sort of voodoo magic stuff  :hurr:) rather than having to remove a cartridge and pit them all in yourself.

Looks like it could be one of them?
