ATR Clutch kit fits Lude?

Post by Merlin » Thu May 23, 2013 12:25 pm

My clutch has give out on the 5th gen, it feels like the release bearing :(

I just want to make sure the ATR clutch kit deffo fits the Prelude before I buy it. With the day Im having I dont want to get something that doesn't fit.

It is this http://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/genuine- ... p-592.html

Its £20 cheaper than the Prelude kit.

Any thoughts?

HI merlin

Ive bought the ATR clutch to fit my lude. From the feedback i got they say its a direct fit - I havent fitted yet due to lack of funds but pretty confident from the feedback there shouldnt be any issues

I can't really confirm or deny Merlin, but logically is there any reason why it wouldn't fit?

I may have this wrong in my head but since the engine and gearbox are interchangeable, shouldn't all the stuff in-between be compatible too?

This is probably where I find out that the clutch isn't where I think it is.

I have an ATR clutch bud, all good here, no issues fitting, got mine from vtec direct, I can't remeber how much off the top of my head, but was loads cheaper than Honda.

Gutted man! This is not a good week for random Prelude related expenses :(
