Ah, then you have the same as me - the connector was missing on mine too, it was just bare spade connectors pushed onto the terminals for me too :D

This is the correct terminal wiring for dipped (viewed from above)

Top connector has the red/yellow wire and the right hand terminal has black. Left hand connector is not connected.

I take it those are Fleabay rice projectors? I've never seen a cut-off that defined with an H4 reflector.

Check the shields in both units are level - they are actually at the bottom & the lens 'reverses' them to appear to block the top!

The RH one looks perfect, but the LH looks inverted to me!

I had a persistent problem with the Civic rice lights (two sets!) until I worked out the brackets holding the projector were holding the LH one 'turned' so the level bit was flicked up & the flick up (language, Timothy!) was level. A bit of crimping & bending them got it perfectly level in the end. Then we sold it...

the h4 bulbs are twin filament. they are main and dip beam, but on a 4th they use 2 bulbs one for dip, one for main.

Blimey - they've got good cut-off for homofocals. Mind you, they look less like projectors in the new photo.

Oh well, at least it nicely demonstrates what happens in a homo if you slightly offset the placement of the bulb filament (dipped to main) and why if you put in a high-intensity discharge bulb, all you get is a glare-laden mess.
