I've seen a lot of these batteries fitted to JDM Accords:

They're taller and thinner than the ones in my UKDM's. I had this one in my 3G Accord for a bit, it wasn't really meant to fit but I just spun it around and the battery tie bar sort of held it in

I then swapped it for my Prelude's battery, fits snugly and the battery tie holds it correctly on the leading edge.

But coming back to Preludes, if anyone is interested in a battery from a UK car that fits then I'm currently using the battery from my 2001 Accord, fits like a glove. There's millions on autotrader if you need a registration plate to give the dealer

Tbh I just whack in any battery to the cars, if it vaguely fits it's all good

The larger battery wouldn't cause any harm, no.

Haven't tried one of those caps myself, but they're quite a common fit to big ice builds. I was going to suggest something like that over a bigger battery if the amp is your only concern - it's more targeted on the amp rather then the rest if the system (which a battery would be). Assuming you've got nice chunky gauge cable feeding power to the amp of course - that's the best starting point.
