Excellent, really glad that's worked out Edu!
Out of interest, which thermostat was the right one they got in for you? (the cheaper or more expensive one)
I'd suggest getting replacement fans sorted and fitted asap next - now it runs at normal temp all the time, you wouldn't be able to sit in traffic very long before it will start to overheat
There's a couple of sellers with fans for sale at the moment off 4th gens. Think they're all 2.2's though so might not fit your new rad. Worth checking measurements with them, but also worth checking with rob_quilter what the ones on his 5th gen 2.0 measure before that gets scrapped (this Friday I think he said?).
If you just measured distance in straight lines round the mounting points, that would probably be enough?

Cheers Wurly! It's the bigger one that fits. I went to euro parts and they got me two very similar guess I got it right. And yeah that's a good shout ill try measure it tomorrow and see what size it is!
It's heating up brilliant now, heating is back to hot too. As for the ECU.... WOW! Jesus it makes a hell of a difference. Definately put a smile on my face when I took It out for a spin!
