Yep, definitely worth investigating/checking everything else is ok before adjusting the idle screw, that can just end up covering up problems.

When i brought it the idle was all over the place so i did both idle valves which made it so much better but just too low , do u think it was messed with before as maybe someone did not know wat they were doing
if it aint broken your not driving it hard enough

@paul72 What does it do if you unplug the IACV electrical connector once the car is up to temperature? Do revs drop or do they stay the same?

Ok just cleaned an made sure fast idle valve was tight plus other idle valve is ok plus no air in water but i have just seen pipe from rocker cover on right of engine to throttle body was almost flat when engine on like it was sucking the pipe to death so have put orignal back on hoping this will make it better
if it aint broken your not driving it hard enough
