Re-wired a few wires in the bay, now car won't start (cobra)

drokking FIXED IT!

Sorry for wasting everyone's time, but somehow, after being perfect for a month since i bought it, the battery suddenly died :S

Don't really understand how but it just had no charge! So i put in my battery from my old car and now it's fine!!

Literally dunno how it happened but s'all goooood :D

Could that not be due to a bad earth or something draining it though?

Just make sure the problem is 100% fixed :lol:

I think any bad earths were only during the wiring process, but i guess i'll find out tomorrow morning!

With difficulty, but I've seen it done before...

I honestly cannot think of anything else that would cause the ENTIRE electrical system to fail like that. Have you got a multimeter & checked the voltage out of the battery to the fuse box/starter/etc etc?

Oops; that's what happens when you check via 'my posts'!

That's bloody bad luck - it's rare for a battery to go totally dead short internally like that. Sort of why I was at first working on the premise you must've blown it up...
