My case for unluckiest driver of the year...

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Nice review!

I'm amazed the cheapness is so apparent from the pics. It's scratchy!

I reckon you should re-post this to start a new Car Review thread :)
(I used to write them for mates when I test drove stuff. It's kind of a compulsion  )

Yeah maybe I should but then people might get annoyed that is a bit off topic honda prelude wise.

I get a lot of hire cars for work so have sampled a few interesting cars so far. Best was the a4 s-line and the Mercedes e class. One of the worst was actually the Guilietta - I was gutted because I think it's a stunning looking car and when they dropped it off one morning I was so excited to test it out. Unfortunately the dreams were crushed when I got inside as the interior was awful and in classic Alfa style the pedals were offset from the steering position meaning your left leg was constantly hitting the centre console. A really disappointing drive that one :(

Well on the plus side, it does come with a pen so you can record the insurance details if you crash this one. Lol

Ha ha. I don't crash cars people crash into me!! The pen was included though. I noticed it on the way home when I was trying to work out where a strange rattling noise was coming from. Maybe it's part of the 'Active' trim level. ;)

Plus as I have learnt, you can only record insurance details if a) the person actually stops after the crash and b) if you chase after them and catch them they decide to actually tell you rather than just committing more road traffic offences!! :o

Hmmm. Never meet your heroes eh? (OK, overstating a bit!). You can never tell until you drive 'em though can you? I'm getting from those cars that you're definitely one for interior quality/style, in which case a 4th must be the right 'lude :D

Next review, more on handling, brakes and engine please ;)

Like Wurly says, we do tend to wander a bit. And if I had a signature it would probably say "Never knowingly on topic". Surprisingly, they seem to put up with me (thus far) :?

That's what they all say.

I bet you cut them up.

It was all your fault.

No signalling etc.

This weekend I plan on travelling back in time to confirm this.

Nah, I bet she/he was doing her/his make up in the rear view mirror when it happened.

Ok, not sure any of these apply to the 107 in truth though. It doesn't handle, just feels like it wants to guide itself off the road into a tree and it takes effort to keep it on track. Brakes are about as good as those on a bike, but then it isn't much more powerful than one. And engine - it could do wih a proper one. sounds like a wasp is trapped under the bonnet. I think it's a 3 cylinder so that might explain it. It's 0-60 is appalling.
Off to bed now, got my alarm set 20 minutes earlier to compensate for my slow transport. I'd have been better with a courtesy donkey or camel. ;)
